sacred space for listening

At its heart, spiritual direction is a quiet, sacred conversation between you and God—with a companion who listens alongside you.

It’s an ancient practice of listening together for the movement of the Holy Spirit, trusting that God is already present and speaking in your life. While we can often hear God’s voice on our own, it’s surprising how much clearer it becomes when we listen in community. Spiritual direction creates space for that kind of deep listening.

There is no “right” way to come. You don’t need perfect words or spiritual certainty—just a desire to pay attention.

what to expect

A session is about one hour, offered online or in person (if you’re local).
We begin in quiet and move gently—through silence, prayer, and conversation about what God may be stirring in you.

Sessions are typically held monthly, though this rhythm can shift depending on your needs or season.

who this is for

Spiritual direction is for anyone longing to slow down and be present to God in a deeper way.
I especially love companioning:

  • Adults desiring a deeper, more intimate relationship with God

  • Young adults discerning their next phase of life

  • Parents seeking a more spacious, prayerful rhythm in their homes

  • Creatives, teachers, and spiritual leaders craving renewal and rest

  • Those exploring childlike wonder, sacred play, or stillness

No previous experience with spiritual direction is needed—only openness.

other ways to listen together

In addition to one-on-one sessions, I occasionally offer:

  • Mini-retreats for small groups or church communities

  • Contemplative sessions for families

  • Godly Play story sessions with time for wondering and reflection

  • Creative prayer spaces (with journaling, coloring, or artful listening)

If your church or group would like to host something gentle and sacred, I’d love to imagine it with you.
